The Rotary Community Garden of Coral Springs is a joint effort of the City of Coral Springs, the Rotary Club of Coral Springs and interested citizens of our community.  The garden is adjacent to the Dr. Steven G. Paul Dog Park, located at 2575 Sportsplex Drive, in Coral Springs, Florida.
This is the garden’s seventh  year. There are fifty-four  4′ * 8′ garden boxes, which individuals, families or groups rent out for the year. There is a mandala circle garden and other community areas where we grow herbs and vegetables for all our gardeners. There are row crops where food is grown for donation to homeless shelters. We are currently building a food forest in the fruit grove. A food forest is a garden like a forest ecosystem, with different types, stages and layers of perennial plants which are edible or useful.

I’ve recently moved to Coral Springs and am interested in a plot in the Community Garden. Are there any available? What’s the fee? I have a BS and MS in Plant and Soil Sciences and am intrerested in assisting with pathogen and pest scouting, etc in trade for a waiver of the fee.

  2. This is great! I am really grateful to see you committed to making a change 🙂

  3. I am interested in joining the community garden. Please let me know if you have availability.

    • Hi Cindy!

Yes, we have availability. You can download the garden contract and send it in with a check to the address on the contract. You can also first let our person keeping track of garden plots know to put you down for a plot – Steve Weitz – email TEVE8484@aol.com. If you just want to visit the garden first, we will be gathering this Saturday morning from about 8:30 to 10:30 to work on contracts and have a fun couple of hours of gardening. Judi

  5. Hello. I’m interested in a garden plot and helping the community garden when I can. I saw the plot agreement in which it stated the fee is for october 2012-september 2013, will I still be able to reserve a plot at this time, and what would be the cost? Thanks for your time.

  6. Good day. Are there any plots available? Thank you in advance!

  7. I just moved to the area. My uncle has given me two banana trees that I am not allowed to plant at the development where I live. I am interested in a plot and would like to plant the trees. Do you have availability?

    • Hi Pamela. We still have plots available for the 2015/2016 season. I left you a phone message, in response to your call. However, trees are not permitted in plots. In the food forest are of the garden, we have been planting banana trees. If you feel like donating your trees to the garden, you can certainly take part in the bananas we reap!
